Pusaka Indonesia (PI) is non-governmental organization (NGO), which concerns in the protection of children and women in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatera. Founded on 10 December 2000, coinciding with the World Human Rights Day, by a number of NGO activists, lecturers, and advocates in North Sumatera. Pusaka Indonesia was established for the creation of civil society and related policies that respects, protects and fulfill the rights of children as well their social environments by adopting the principel of the best interest of children.
Children and Women

The vision  of women and children division is the manifested awareness standing up for women and children as the victims of gender-based violence in Indonesia, by providing them protection and encouragement, optimal integrated service, such as; legal service, rehabilitation and prevention efforts for gender-based violence in the society
Litigation

The main activities performed by this division is to provide legal assistance and service to women and children who have legal problem, both sides as the victims or perpetrators. This is due to that since its early establishment, Pusaka Indonesia Foundation is to support advocacy and defend children and women, in which the handling of some case constitutes to be one of the entry points in doing advocacy works
Environmental and Community Empowerment

The global environmental conditions are currently very concerned, the impact of global warming on climate change has disrupted the thought of all humans, fear of rising temperatures which leads to the melting of the polar-side worlds becomes a problem to be anticipated
Disaster Risk Reduction

The big vision of DRR section, within Pusaka Indonesia’s Program Planning, is to develop the culture of safety and resilience of communties
